The Saint Jacques de Compostelle is a popular route for travelers in France. It passes by us on one of the four main pilgrim trails through France. A map showing the various pilgrimage routes of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela through France and Spain. This one originates at Chartes, continues on from Paris and then on through Bordeaux. The route itself is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is part of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela ( also know as “The Way of Saint James”) with Santiago de Compostela in the north west of Spain being the final destination. Each day is different here. We enjoy the diversity and the many people making their pilgrimage to Santiago.
