The Autumn Colors

The Autumn Colors

As the harvest is underway I wanted to share with you the last glimpse of the grapes on the vines. The merlot is all in now. Next we begin to harvest the cabernets. It is exciting and gives closure to jobs well done in the fields.

A row of grapevines in autumn, with leaves showing a mix of vibrant gold, crimson, and green colors.

We have made jelly from the grand cru merlot and enjoy a fresh glass of juice with lunch each day. The ruby red is a great indication of the fine wine that will be made from this harvest.

A jar of dark red grape jelly and a glass of ruby-colored grape juice on a table, with a garden and white wall visible in the background.

The colors of the vines are beautiful. The roses continue to bloom on the end of the rows. Crimson and gold and vibrant greens give you a sense that this year has been one of growth and warmth.
